AquaDrops® gets fruity with new national press campaign

AquaDrops is launching a new national press campaign. The campaign, developed by TBWA\LONDON will break on the 7th March and will run to the 14th July, aiming to drive awareness and trial of AquaDrops.

This is part of a multimedia advertising and sampling campaign worth £2.2 million*.

AquaDrops and TBWA/LONDON have brought fresh Disruptive thinking to a category steeped in convention and positioned the product vs. typical remedies for a stale, dry mouth e.g. mints.

The Big Idea focuses on the fact that when you have a dry/stale mouth, the fruity, mouthwatering taste of AquaDrops is the ideal solution. The strapline for the campaign is “Dry Mouth? Fruity Solution”.

Two press executions have been developed, running both as single pages and strips. They both show quirky and amusing scenarios of people who obviously have dry mouths and are in desperate need of a remedy. AquaDrops is positioned as providing the ideal solution for a dry mouth. Its unique properties make your mouth water with an intense zingy fruit flavour, to create a refreshingly cool and clean mouth.

The two executions will be runout across various men’s and women’s titles and national newspapers throughout the summer, targeting 18-35 year old, young urban professionals who lead busy on-the-move lifestyles, and often feel the need to freshen up their mouths.

The campaign will also run tactically on petrol pumps nationwide and through an online campaign during the year.

The campaign was created by Bryn Jones and Julia Clark, with media buying through Mediacom.
