Adidas is launching a print campaign, created by TBWA\LONDON, to celebrate the announcement of its partnership with Chelsea FC and introduce the new team home kit. The campaign which launches on 10th September will run across outdoor, press and bus sides in addition to ticket gates and tube stations near the Stamford Bridge ground.
One ad features the entire Chelsea football team, half a billion pounds worth of players, - kitted out in the recently launched strip - performing a single player’s fluid move captured by photographer Tim Brett-Day. The run-jump-header-celebration symbolises the “no individual is bigger than a team” ethos shared between Chelsea FC and Adidas.
Two other print executions will run which feature key Chelsea players. Plus further work for Chelsea where the fans become part of the team themselves in the world’s biggest team photo ever.
The campaign was created by Chris Bovill and John Allison, designed by Rich Kennedy, account manager Alex Pellew
