
TBWA\LONDON has appointed Julie McKeen to the position of Marketing Director, which will see her run the agency’s new business function and marketing efforts, reporting in to CEO Matt Shepherd-Smith. She will also be responsible for the marketing of TBWA\LONDON’s brand entertainment arm STREAM\, Europe’s leading brand entertainment agency, as well as working closely with TBWA’s partner agencies Tequila and Agency.com to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
McKeen, 31, joins from Lowe London where she is Group Head responsible for running the European Unilever business out of London. She runs the award winning accounts for Sure (Go Wild and Incredible Woman) as well as Peperami (Fanimal), and Hellmanns since joining the agency in 2003.

Named a ‘Face to Watch’ by Camapign earlier this year, McKeen started her career as a graduate at Grey in 1997, before moving to BMP DDB in 1999. There she was an Account Director where she worked on a range of accounts including The Guardian, Sony, Unilever, and Johson and Johnson moving four years later to Lowe London.
McKeen was educated in the UK, France and US and graduated from Sheffield University with a First Class Double Honours degree in French and English Literature.
McKeen, who will take up her new role in January 2007, replaces Suzie Shaw who was promoted to client services director last month.
