TBWA\LONDON launches campaign for Nissan Navara Sponsorship of Soccer AM

TBWA\LONDON has created a campaign to support Nissan’s sponsorship of Sky Sports’ flagship football show, Soccer AM. The campaign will promote the Nissan Navara across TV idents, online and mobile activity, with the aim of improving consideration and opinion of the pick-up vehicle among a highly targeted audience of real football fans.

Breaking on the 11th August, the television idents consists of over 50 spots which will run throughout the 2007/2008 football season. A 15” spot will be screened to open and close the Saturday morning show with 5” spots running during the program’s 16 breaks.

The ‘It gets respect’ campaign aims to consolidate Nissan’s reputation as the most respected pick-up on the market through an association with the most respected real football show on TV.

The idents use a wide variety of recognisable football characters, including the South American transfer, the WAG, the groundsman, the commentator, etc.

The sponsorship also includes branding on the Soccer AM micro-site on skysports.com and a highlights show called The Best Bits. Nissan branding will also appear on the Soccer AM show when downloaded through Sky Anytime TV and Sky Anytime mobile phone clips.
