
TBWA\LONDON today announced the appointment of Trudy Waldron as Head of TV. She will report to Executive Creative Director Steve Henry with the task of leading the TV department and integrating it into a wider production offering. The role will see her working closely with the agency’s brand entertainment specialists STREAM\ to exploit longer format and programme making opportunities as well as enhancing the agency’s wider digital offering.
Waldron joins from Fallon where she has been working as a freelance TV producer on the current Orange campaign ‘Life as you like it’. Over the past two years her freelance posts have seen her work at Mother on various Boots projects, BBH and Wieden & Kennedy Amsterdam.
Prior to freelancing, Waldron was TV producer at St Lukes between September 2000 and December 2004, responsible for working on a range of projects for clients that included Clarks Shoes, Ikea, BT, Fox’s Biscuits and Travelocity. Between August 1998 and September 2000 she worked on Mars, Texaco, Masterfoods and Fiat among others as TV producer at D’Arcy (DMB&B).
Waldron started her career at the BBC where she worked in production for Music & Arts, which included the programmes Arena and Omnibus.
