We are living in a world of polarized ideals about beauty. On the one hand there’s L’Oreal presenting an unattainable, elite beauty represented by achingly perfect models and celebrities that make ordinary women feel bad about themselves. On the other hand there’s Dove telling women to accept what they are and look and learn to feel confident.
